Mauritius has some of the world’s best golf courses. There are over a dozen golf courses to discover, some designed by the likes of Bernhard Langer and Ernie Els, where perfectly manicured greens lead to views of the ocean and mountains beyond. You can even hop on a boat over to Ile aux Cerfs Golf Course to play on an offshore island – it is often voted one of the top 100 golf courses in the world. Many resorts offer reduced or preferential green fees for their guests, by arrangement with Golf Clubs, at certain times of the year.

Ile Aux Cerfs Golf Club

A Spectacular Golf Course in Mauritius. Designed by the famous golf champion, Bernhard Langer, Ile Aux Cerfs Golf Club is an 19 holes golf course which lies on the east coast of Mauritius. The island golf course is reachable only by a ‘special golf’ boat shuttle from its private jetty or by a scenic helicopter flip. Tamarina Golf Club

Inaugurated in 2006, Tamarina Golf Club is an 18-hole championship Par 72 course designed by the architect Rodney Wright. Anahita Golf Club

A spectacular golf course, with many of the holes hugging the water’s edge of the largest lagoon in Mauritius, was opened in 2008 and built to USGA standards. Avalon Golf Estate
